By sharing their stories, insights, and strategies for success, the book seeks to inspire and empower both aspiring and established Black women educators, while also fostering a broader understanding and appreciation of the vital role Black women play in shaping the future of education and society.
About the Author
Dr. Roslyn Bell is a confident, resilient, and passionate school principal with 20 years of educational experience. She prides herself on being a strong advocate for students in closing the achievement gap and eliminating the disparities that exist among minority students. She currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Wesleyan University, a Master of Education degree from Texas Christian University, and a Doctorate of Education Leadership and Technology degree from Tarleton State University. Dr. Bell is a loving wife, mother, daughter, and child of God. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
