About the Author

Dr. La Juan Hines-Rome is a seasoned educator and leader with over 30 years of experience in education and administration. Holding a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, she brings expertise in teaching, facilitation, training, and inspiring students, faculty, and staff. Her background includes roles as an Educational Consultant, Adjunct Professor, and Academic Coach and Advisor, where she excelled in promoting student success and program development. Dr. Hines-Rome is also a dedicated community leader, having founded and led the non-profit organization She'Matters G.I.R.L.S., Inc. Her commitment to excellence, leadership, and diversity makes her an invaluable asset to any forward-thinking educational organization.
