By sharing their stories, insights, and strategies for success, the book seeks to inspire and empower both aspiring and established Black women educators, while also fostering a broader understanding and appreciation of the vital role Black women play in shaping the future of education and society.
About the Author
Araine McWhinney, M.S., CCC-SLP is an entrepreneur, career trailblazer, author, and Speech-Language Pathologist. As the founder of True Voice, LLC, she specializes in identifying communication barriers to provide parents and families with the tools they need for their loved ones to achieve success. As an evaluation specialist, Araine develops individualized care plans to improve communication and their quality of life. Araine is a curriculum writer and coveted speaker who provides in-person learning experiences for university programs. When Araine is not working, you can find her training for half marathons, volunteering or traveling.
